Novena for Reconciliation in Marriage
Dear Lord, we thank You and praise You for giving us the sacrament of marriage. We ask You to pour the grace of reconciliation into all troubled marriages.
There are many reasons that marriages can become troubled in our modern society. Sometimes, married couples even try to end their relationship through civil divorce. We know through the teachings of Your Church that the sacramental marriage bond You created cannot be ended through a civil law. But You can bring reconciliation into even such dire cases.
Please help all marriages that are in need of reconciliation, and we particularly ask today that You pour out the grace of reconciliation for the marriages of all civilly divorced couples.
Help us to always submit all aspects of our lives to You. Give us the grace to love You above all else.
And we especially ask in this novena for (mention your intentions here).

Prayers for a troubled marriage:
Lord Jesus Christ, You provide us with many opportunities in married life to grow in holiness by growing in charity. Grant that we might never overlook these occasions for growth, especially when they challenge us. May we never tire in our daily struggle to accept all things, the great and small trials as well as the greater and lesser joys, as ways in which we might praise You and deepen our share in Your Cross and Resurrection. Amen.
Prayers for a troubled marriage:
Lord Jesus Christ, You permitffering to be a part of every human life, but You will that our afflictions be fruitful and redemptive. Help us to receive the trials and sufferings of our married life in a truly Christian spirit: as a way of making up for our sins and of bringing down many graces upon ourselves and others. May we, as husband and wife, be present to each other during times of suffering; may we never willingly cause each other to suffer. But grant that we might be strong with the strength of Your love, persevering and growing in our love until death. Amen.

St. Jude, the patron of lost causes, can be a perfect patron for those troubled marriages. He’s always able to find what’s lost and restore it to the owner – and our marriages are no exception.
St. Jude, I call upon you to intercede with God for me and to help me in my relationship. Help us come together so we can reconnect and reignite our love and understanding for each other. Help us listen and speak from the heart so we can communicate with compassion. Teach us how to love ourselves so we can easily love one another. Mary, Mother of Fairest Love, you are the Mother of Jesus and our Mother. Intercede for us with your Son, as you did at the wedding at Cana. Pray for us, Fairest Mother, to strengthen and bless our families.
Help those called to marriage to find their spouses and teach them to love with a pure and selfless love.
Accompany parents in the upbringing and education of their children with unconditional love.
Help those who have answered the Father’s call to the consecrated life and apostolic celibacy to be generous and faithful to their vocation.
Bring peace, unity, and joy to the homes of families that are broken or burdened. Accompany with the warmth of your presence those who are alone.
You are the Mater Pulchrae Dilectionis, the Mother of beautiful love. Help us to love as Jesus loves, so we may show each other love full of mercy and forgiveness.
May all our love and affections be always faithful, pure, and chaste.
Dear Mother, be our refuge in our material and spiritual needs, and intercede especially for (here mention your petitions).

Prayer to Heal a Relationship
Dear Lord, I offer you this prayer, to help me with my current relationship situation. Please take away all the pain and hurt in my heart. Fill it with love, joy, patience, and understanding. Bless me and my partner, so that we may never surrender to whatever challenges that come our way. Fill our hearts with love for each other, and may you make each one of us realize each other’s worth. Please touch the heart of my partner, fill it with much love for me. Make our complicated relationship become uncomplicated. I seek for your mercy and blessing that you may allow us to spend the rest of our lives with each other. Please make this feeling mutual for both of us. Lead us not into temptations. Guide us wherever we go. Always put us in each other’s heart and mind. Thank you Lord for hearing my prayer. I love you. Amen.
Prayer for Troubled Marriage
O Good Saint Joseph and Blessed Mother Mary, You dedicated your lives to one another in obedience to God’s will, honoring the Lord through faithfulness in your marriage. You raised our Lord Jesus Christ in His youth, modeling faith and love for God as the Holy Family. I pray that you may be with my husband/ wife and me as we fight off evil that aims to separate us in our marriage. Guide us and guard us as we strive to serve God in our marriage. I fervently pray that you will send angels to protect us and our family, restoring all brokenness and wounds that have hurt us, turning us away from the Lord and from one another. Bring us clarity so that we may remain committed to the vows we made in the sacrament of Holy Matrimony. Holy Mary, full of God’s presence, during your life you accepted the Father’s will with full humility, and the devil was never able to tie you up with his confusion. Since then, you have interceded for all our difficulties, as you did at the wedding feast of Cana. Full of kindness and patience, you show us how to untie the knots of our lives. By always being our mother, you arrange and clarify the ties that link us to the Lord. Holy Mary, Mother of God and of us all, you untie the knots of our lives with a mother’s heart. Help us, O Most Holy Mother, to heal the broken bonds within our families, our friendships, and all our other
relationships. Help us to love others the way that Christ loves us with self sacrificing love. In particular, heal my relationship with (state intentions here).
Intercede for us O Holy Daughter, Spouse, and Mother, so that through the mercy of God, the chains of division will be broken, uniting us once again as you are ever united to the Most Holy Trinity. We ask this in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
